Black Walnut Pound Cake
- 2 sticks butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 3 c. sugar
- 5 eggs (beat well after each egg)
- 1 c. sour cream
- 3 c. plain flour
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. black walnut flavoring
- 1 c. chopped black walnuts
- Preheat oven
- to
- 325u0b0.
- Creamtutter and Crisco until fluffy.
- Add sugartnd
- beat
- well.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating well
- after
- each.tdd
- sour
- cream, flour and baking powder.
- Alternate with milk, beginning and ending with flour. Bake for 1tour (check because it may need to bake 15 minutes longer).
- This

- should
- be
- put in a greased and floured tube pan.
