Classic Chicken Parmesan

  1. Heat oven to 350F (180C).
  2. Dip chicken in egg, then bread crumbs to coat thoroughly.
  3. In large skillet, heat oil; add chicken.
  4. Cook on both sides until lightly browned; drain on paper towels.
  5. Pour 1/2 cup sauce in 8-inch square baking dish.
  6. Layer chicken in dish; pour 3/4 cup sauce evenly over chicken.
  7. Sprinkle with cheeses.
  8. Bake 25 minutes or until bubbly.
  9. Meanwhile, cook noodles according to package directions; drain.
  10. Heat remaining sauce.
  11. Place noodles on serving platter; spoon sauce over noodles.
  12. Arrange chicken pieces on top.
