Quick Beef Stroganoff

  1. Cut the onion and garlic.
  2. Cook ground beef, onion, and garlic until beef is browned.
  3. Drain excess grease.
  4. Mix all but the last 4 ingredients into the pan, simmer for 20-30 minutes.
  5. Combine sour cream, flour, and water, whisk until smooth.
  6. Add sour cream mixture to saucepan and cook another 15-25 minutes until mixture thickens.
  7. While simmering, cook egg noodles according to package instructions and drain.
  8. Remove bay leaf.
  9. Serve beef mixture over the noodles.
