Quick Beef Stroganoff
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup beef broth
- 13 cup dry sherry
- 12 small onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 12 teaspoon dried oregano
- 14 teaspoon black pepper
- 18 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 bay leaf
- 12 cup sour cream
- 14 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons water
- 12 ounces uncooked egg noodles
- Cut the onion and garlic.
- Cook ground beef, onion, and garlic until beef is browned.
- Drain excess grease.
- Mix all but the last 4 ingredients into the pan, simmer for 20-30 minutes.
- Combine sour cream, flour, and water, whisk until smooth.
- Add sour cream mixture to saucepan and cook another 15-25 minutes until mixture thickens.
- While simmering, cook egg noodles according to package instructions and drain.
- Remove bay leaf.
- Serve beef mixture over the noodles.
