Margherite Ice Box Cake
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 10 STELLA D'ORO MARGHERITE Combination Cookies (5 chocolate, 5 vanilla)
- 1 square BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, shaved
- Beat cream, vanilla and powdered sugar in small bowl with electric mixer on high speed until soft peaks form.
- Spread each cookie with about 1 Tbsp.
- of the whipped cream mixture.
- Stack cookies together, alternating chocolate and vanilla cookies and standing cookies on long edge on serving platter to make a loaf.
- Frost with remaining whipped cream mixture to cover cookies completely.
- Cover; refrigerate 4 hours or overnight.
- Top with shaved chocolate just before serving.
- Cut diagonally into 4 slices to serve.
- Store leftover dessert in refrigerator.
