Apricot Brownies

  1. In saucepan, melt chocolate and margarine over low heat, stirring constantly.
  2. Remove from heat.
  3. Stir in brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  4. Set aside.
  5. In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Stir in chocolate mixture.
  7. Combine apricots, almonds, and coconut.
  8. Stir half into the batter.
  9. Pour into 9-inch greased baking pan.
  10. Sprinkle with remaining apricot mixture.
  11. Bake at 350u0b0 for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
