Veal Broccoli Wellington Recipe
- 1 pound grnd veal
- 3 c. broccoli, par-cooked
- 4 ounce. shredded mozzarella
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 1/2 c. lowfat sour cream
- 2 (8 ounce.) Pillsbury Quick crescent dinner rolls
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 c. mushrooms
- In medium skillet brown meat; drain well.
- Add in broccoli, cheese, mushrooms, onion and lowfat sour cream; mix well.
- Simmer 10 min.
- Unroll dough, press or possibly roll to create two 13 x 7 inch rectangles (sealing all perforations).
- Spoon meat mix in 3 inch strip lengthwise down center of dough.
- Roll dough over filling; overlapping ends slightly.
- Brush with egg.
- Repeat for second dough.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 18 min.
- You can use grnd hamburger instead of veal.
