Mushrooms& Peas for Pasta or Rice

  1. Melt butter in olive oil.
  2. Saute mushrooms and peas about 5 minute.
  3. Add wine and simmer 5 minutes.
  4. Turn off heat.
  5. Add cream and half and half and mix well.
  6. (never cook cream or half and half on high heat- it will separate) Cook pasta or rice according to directions and drain well but keep hot.
  7. Mix with sauce and toss with 1/2 th cheese.
  8. Serve hot with extra cheese on the side.
