Green Chili Stew

  1. Brown beef and onions in oil in large saucepan.
  2. Add beans, tomatoes, water, chilies, beef granules, sugar and garlic, bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 1 hour or until meat is tender.
  4. Ladle into individual bowls and sprinkle with cheese.
  5. Serve with warmed tortillas.
