Snowman cake (3D)
- 3 box cake mix OR
- 6 cup flour
- 5 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 6 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 cup butter, softened
- 4 cup sugar
- 10 eggs
- 5 tsp vanilla
- 2 cup milk
- 3 cup cinnamon chips
- 3 can vanilla frosting
- 1/4 cup melted milk chocolate
- 6 pretzel sticks
- 1 colored icing
- 3 long wooden sticks
- Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Beat butter and sugar.
- Slowly add in eggs and vanilla.
- Once smooth, add in milk and beat until smooth.
- Lightly coat cinnamon chips in flour and add to the cake mix and stir in.
- The cakes should fill 3 9 inch round baking pans, but it doesn't really matter what shape you bake them in so feel free to use whatever you have.
- Make sure all pans are generously greased before putting batter in.
- Bake each cake at 350F for about 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cakes cool completely (a few hours).
- Once cooled, cut off edges of cake so you only have the softest parts.
- Cut these into small pieces and make cake into a crumble in a large bowl.
- Add about 1/3-1/2 of a can of frosting to 1 cake's worth of crumbles and mix until you are able to mold it.
- Mold the cakes into 3 different size balls (optional: plus a hat) and refrigerate the balls for at least 4 hours.
- Once hardened, ice the balls with more vanilla frosting and stack 3 largest to smallest onto the center of a wooden stick.
- Make sure the stick doesn't show.
- Dip pretzels and hats in melted chocolate and let cool.
- Assemble them onto snowman as a hat and arms.
- Add more cinnamon chips as eyes and buttons.
- Add the colored frosting as a scarf.
