Joe's Special Spaghetti Pie #Ragu
- 6 ounces spaghetti noodles
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 14 cup parmesan cheese
- 13 cup feta cheese
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 12 lb Italian sausage
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 6 eggs, beaten
- 12 cup mozzarella cheese
- 14 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 (24 ounce) jar Ragu Pasta Sauce (chunky tomatoes, garlic and onion pasta sauce)
- 1 12 cups spinach, chopped
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Cook spaghetti following directions until al dente.
- Drain.
- While spaghetti is cooking mix egg, butter and parmesan cheese until blended.
- Mix egg, butter and parmesan cheese until blended.
- Mix egg mixture with hot spaghetti and press into 9" pie pan.
- Mix feta and ricotta and spread over spaghetti.
- Cook Italian sausage and onions until browned.
- Add spinach and stir until spinach begins to wilt.
- Add eggs and stir until slightly set up.
- Mound sausage mixture on top of spaghetti.
- Cover with foil and bake in oven for 20 minutes.
- Heat ragu pasta sauce and add spinach to wilt.
- Remove foil from spaghetti pie and top with mozzarella and parmesan cheeses.
- Continue to bake 10 minutes until cheese is melted and browned.
- Let set 5 minutes before cutting in wedges.
- Top with pasta sauce.
