Canadian Indian (Sioux) Fish Chowder Recipe
- 1 c. Minced onion
- 4 c. Cubed potatoes
- 1 Tbsp. Salt
- 1/8 Tbsp. Pepper
- 5 c. Raw fish, 3/4" cubes
- 1 quart Boiling water
- 2 c. Lowfat milk
- 1 c. Half & half cream Parsley or possibly chives
- Add in potatoes, onions, salat and pepper to water.
- Cook about 10 minutes, till veg are soft, but not completely cooked.
- Add in fish and cook 10 minutes.
- Add in lowfat milk and light cream, stir and heat 15 minutes longer.
- Don't BOIL.
- Serve with parsley or possibly chives.
