Ginger Pork Shogayaki
- 300 grams Thinly sliced pork loin
- 1 Salt and pepper
- 100 ml Sake
- 50 grams Ginger
- 1/2 Apple
- 1/2 Onion
- 100 ml Soy sauce
- 1 Oil
- 6 tbsp Katakuriko
- Season the meat with salt and pepper.
- Chop the apples and onions into 1 cm chunks.
- Grate the ginger.
- Saute the onions, apples, and 1/3 of the grated ginger.
- Marinade the pork in half of the sake and 1/3 of the ginger.
- Combine the sauteed apples, onions, and ginger to the remaining sake and ginger to make the sauce.
- Spread out the marinated pork and coat with the katakuriko.
- Dust off the excess.
- Add the remaining marinade to the sauce.
- Lightly fry both sides of the pork in oil.
- Add the sauce from Step 4 and coat while continuing to fry.
- It's done.
- Serve up!
