Cracker Stuffing
- 1/3 cup margarine or butter
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 4 large stalks celery, chopped (about 1-1/4 cups)
- 30 saltine crackers, coarsely broken (about 4 cups of crumbs)
- 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 tsp. ground sage
- 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1 cup chicken broth
- Preheat oven to 325F.
- Melt margarine in large skillet on medium-high heat.
- Add onion and celery; cook and stir until crisp-tender.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Spoon into greased 1-1/2-quart casserole dish; cover.
- Bake 40 minutes or until heated through.
