Braised Beef And Onions Recipe

  1. Brown meat in warm oil in 8-qt saucepot.
  2. Remove meat from saucepot; drain.
  3. Add in steak sauce and water to saucepot; bring to boil.
  4. Add in meat and onion.
  5. Reduce heat; simmer 1 1/2 hrs, basting occasionally and adding additional water if needed.
  6. Slice meat; serve over noodles.
  7. Great Substitute: Substitute beef brisket for chuck roast.
