Braised Beef And Onions Recipe
- 1 x boneless beef chuck roast (1 1/2 to 2 lb.)
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 c. A.1. Bold & Spicy Steak Sauce
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 lrg sweet onions, sliced 1/4 inch thick Parslied noodles
- Brown meat in warm oil in 8-qt saucepot.
- Remove meat from saucepot; drain.
- Add in steak sauce and water to saucepot; bring to boil.
- Add in meat and onion.
- Reduce heat; simmer 1 1/2 hrs, basting occasionally and adding additional water if needed.
- Slice meat; serve over noodles.
- Great Substitute: Substitute beef brisket for chuck roast.
