Meat And Vegetable Pie Recipe

  1. In a small bowl combine Bisquick, salt, pepper and paprika mix; reserve leftover mix.
  2. In skillet cook meat in warm shortening till meat is browned.
  3. Add in 1/4 c. water; cover and cook over low heat about 2 hrs or possibly till meat is tender.
  4. Remove meat from pan.
  5. Add in 1 c. water to drippings in pan.
  6. Stir together 2 Tbsp.
  7. of the reserved Bisquick mix and 1/4 c. water.
  8. Stir into warm liquid gradually.
  9. Heat to boiling; boil and stir 1 minute.
  10. To serve, pour warm gravy over meat.
  11. Makes 4 servings.
