Sauerkraut Surprise Recipe

• 1 - 1 1/2 lbs. kielbasa
• 12 ounce. sauerkraut
• 1 1/2 - 2 c. instant mashed potatoes
• 3 slices American cheese

1. Pre-cook kielbasa for 15 to 20 min.
2. Cut into 1" pcs and cover bottom of casserole.
3. Partially drain sauerkraut and layer over kielbasa.
4. Make potatoes as directed on package and cover sauerkraut.
5. Break up cheese slices and place on top of potatoes.
6. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30 min.
7. Serve warm with salad and vegetable.
8. Wieners or possibly sausage may be used in place of kielbasa.
