- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. butter
- 2/3 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. maraschino cherry juice
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 2 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 1/4 c. chopped maraschino cherries
- 1/2 tsp. marshmallow cream
- Sift the first 3 ingredients together.
- Cream the next 3 ingredients together.
- Stir into creamed mixture half dry ingredients.
- Add cherry juice and milk.
- Add rest of flour. Blend in chocolate (use unsweetened chocolate squares only, not cocoa), pecans and cherries.
- Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake 12 to 15 minutes.
- While still warm, spoon on marshmallow cream and cool.
- Frost with icing.
