KaShawna's Crab Cakes With Shrimp
- 1 lb Lump Crab meat
- 1/3 cup Crushed Cracker (I use Ritz)
- 3 Green Onions Cut (White part too)
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 Shrimp Cut into small pieces
- 1 tsp Worcestershire
- 1/4 cup Mayo
- 1/2 cup Celery (Chopped Finely)
- 1 tsp Dry Mustard
- 1/2 cup Lemon Juice
- 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Pepper
- 1 dash cayenne pepper
- 1 Flour (For Dusting)
- 1/2 cup Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 Kashawna's Home Made Tarter (see recipe)
- In a large bowl, mix together all ingredients, except for the flour and peanut oil.
- Shape into patties and dust with flour.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- When oil is hot, carefully place crab cakes, in batches, in pan and fry until browned, about 4 to 5 minutes.
- Carefully flip crab cakes and fry on other side until golden brown, about 4 minutes.
- Serve Warm with Kashawna's Tarter
