Lemonade With Lemon Grass And Dried Lemon

  1. Combine sugar, lemon grass and dried lemon in a saucepan.
  2. Add 2 cups water, and bring mixture to a boil.
  3. Simmer 5 to 7 minutes or until dried lemon is tender.
  4. Use a spoon to squash lemon against side of pan.
  5. Turn off heat, and let mixture rest for 10 minutes, then strain it into a pitcher.
  6. Add lemon juice and 6 cups cold water.
  7. Chill until thoroughly cold, at least 2 hours.
  8. Serve over ice.
