Ham & Cheese Asparagus Spears

  1. In batches, steam the asparagus until bright green and still crisp, about 3-5 minutes.
  2. Let it cool.
  3. Preheat the oven to 425 F.
  4. Layer a half slice of ham, topped with a half slice of cheese.
  5. Place one asparagus spear on top of the cheese and roll the ham and cheese around it.
  6. Place crease side down on a large baking sheet.
  7. Repeat until all the asparagus are wrapped.
  8. Bake 5-10 minutes until cheese is melted and asparagus are tender.
