Chinese Sweet And Sour Pork Recipe

  1. Brown pork in fat.
  2. Add in water, cover and simmer 1 to 1 1/4 hrs.
  3. In large saucepan combine cornstarch, salt, brown sugar, vinegar, pineapple juice and soy sauce and cook till slightly thick, stirring constantly.
  4. Add in pork and let stand 10 min or possibly longer (even the next day).
  5. When ready to serve, add in peppers, onions and pineapple and cherries.
  6. Cook 2 to 3 min and serve with rice.
  7. Vegetables are to be crispy.
