Mrs. Schnetsler Christmas Roll Cookies

  1. Dissolve baking soda in a small amount of warm water.
  2. Mix all ingredients together.
  3. Stir until combined.
  4. Roll dough into snake-like logs in wax paper or tin foil.
  5. In a cool place (I used the refrigerator), let the rolls stand overnight.
  6. Cut rolls into slices.
  7. Bake at 375 for about 8-10 minutes (depending on how thick you sliced cookies) or until very lightly browned.
  8. Remove cookies from oven.
  9. Cool them on wire racks.
