Ilah's Swiss Steak

  1. Cut meat into bite size pieces.
  2. Mix flour and pepper.
  3. Dredge meat in flour and brown in oil in large skillet.
  4. (May need to brown in batches).
  5. Combine ingredients for sauce.
  6. After all meat is brown, return to pan and pour sauce over meat.
  7. Cover and simmer until meat is tender, about 1 hour.
