Alabama Biscuit Rolls Recipe

  1. Sift dry ingredients together.
  2. Cut shortening in with pastry blender.
  3. Add in yeast, water and lowfat milk; work into soft dough.
  4. Roll 1/8 inch thick; cut with 2 different sized cutters.
  5. Dip each in melted margarine.
  6. Place smaller biscuits on top; arrange on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  7. Let rise till double in size.
  8. Partially bake at 400 degrees.
  9. When ready to serve, finish browning and serve very warm.
  10. Yield: 35 biscuits.
