Mushroom Swiss Steak

  1. In a 4 quart slow cooker, layer onion, carrots, mushrooms and bean.
  2. Sprinkle pepper over beef.
  3. In medium bowl, mix soup and tomato sauce; pour over beef.
  4. Cover, cook on LOW heat setting 8 to 10 hours.
  5. Place beef on serving platter.
  6. With slotted spoon, remove vegetables from cooker and spoon over beef.
  7. Stir gravy in cooker with wire shisk to blend.
  8. Serve gravy with beef.
