Chipotle Steak Chili
- 1 lb stew meat
- 4 can tomato sauce
- 1 can tomato paste
- 2 large tomatoes
- 2 each green bell peppers
- 1 large sweet onion
- 2 each chopped canned chipotle
- 3 clove minced garlic
- 2 tbsp paprika
- 2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh basil
- 1 each lime, juiced and zest
- 2 tsp chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 salt/pepper to taste
- brown stew meat over medium a high heat in large skillet, cook to medium
- drain grease then add to crock pot or dutch oven
- add tomatoes, green pepper, onion, garlic and chipotles
- add tomato sauce and paste
- stir everything together
- cover and heat.
- Crock pot: high 2+ hours, low 4+hours.
- Stove top: low-medium 1-2 hours, stirring occasionally
