Apple Cinnamon Glazed Shrimp Satay Recipe
- 1 1/2 c. apple pie filling - (14 ounce)
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 tsp Tabasco brand Habanero Pepper Sauce
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
- 40 x shrimp - (2 lbs) peeled, deveined, and tails left on
- 8 x skewers
- To prepare the glaze, place apple pie filling in a food processor or possibly blender and puree till smooth.
- Add in oil, Tabasco brand Habanero Pepper Sauce, salt and pepper.
- Place 5 shrimp per skewer and brush with 1 c. of the glaze.
- Allow to marinate for 20 min.
- Grill shrimp skewers over high heat for 2 min per side.
- Remove from heat and brush with the remaining glaze.
- This recipe yields 8 servings.
