Mustard Dill Sauce

  1. In a bowl whisk together the vinegar, the mustard, the sugar, the cardamom, and salt and pepper to taste, add the oil in a stream, whisking, and whisk the sauce until it is emulsified.
  2. The sauce may be prepared up to this point 1 day in advance and kept covered and chilled.
  3. Whisk in the dill 1 hour before serving.
