Figs in Syrup

  1. In a medium saucepan on high heat, combine the figs, sugar, and water.
  2. Bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer.
  3. Cook until figs are very soft, and syrup is thick.
  4. Garnish with chopped pistachios.
