Knockwurst in Beer-Wine with Kraut

  1. Combine all ingredients.
  2. Cover tightly in a large skillet.
  3. Simmer over low heat 15 to 20 minutes and serve.
  4. Can also be prepared in a crockpot, which is done most of the time.
  5. Ham hocks can be used/added also.
  6. (Just strip most of the fat off.)
  7. In crockpot it's about 6 hrs cooking, but much better.
  8. Serve with mashed potatoes.
