Macaroni Buffet Skillet
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 small green pepper
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 (7 1/4 oz.) pkg. macaroni and cheese dinner
- 1 (8 oz.) can whole kernel corn (undrained)
- 1 large can whole tomatoes
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. water
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
- In a large skillet, cook onions, garlic, green pepper and ground beef in vegetable oil, stirring until meat is broken up and loses its red color.
- Add uncooked macaroni, corn, tomatoes, salt, pepper, cheese (from package) and water.
- Heat to boiling.
- Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 30 minutes, or until macaroni is cooked.
- Stir frequently.
- Makes four servings.
