Easy Pulled Pork
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1/2 cups Diced Yellow Onion
- 4 cloves Minced Garlic
- 1 Tablespoon Kosher Salt
- 2 Tablespoons Ground Black Pepper
- 2 Tablespoons Seasoned Salt
- 2 Tablespoons Garlic Powder
- 3 pounds Pork Shoulder (Trimmed Of Most Visible Fat)
- 12 ounces, fluid Your Favorite BBQ Sauce
- Drizzle the olive oil into the bottom of your crock pot and then toss in the onion and garlic.
- In a small bowl, mix together the salt, pepper, seasoned salt and garlic powder and then rub it onto the pork shoulder.
- Place the seasoned pork shoulder on top of the onion and garlic and then just pour on the BBQ Sauce, no need to stir anything.
- Put your crock pot on the low setting and cook the shoulder for just about eight hours, or until it can be easily broken apart with a fork.
- Serve as desired.
- *Just a side note, the pork shoulder may look a little burnt during the last hour or so of cooking time, but this is not the indication that it is done, and it is OK if this happens.
