Barley And Oat Bread Recipe
- 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
- 2 1/2 c. bread flour
- 3/4 c. barley flour
- 1/3 c. rolled oats
- 3 Tbsp. wheat germ
- 3 Tbsp. powdered lowfat milk
- 3 Tbsp. grated orange zest
- 3 Tbsp. sesame seeds (optional)
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 Tbsp. honey
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 1/3 c. water
- Measure all ingredients into bread machine pan in the order suggested by machine's manufacturer.
- Process on basic cycle.
- This recipe yields a 1 1/2 lb.
- loaf.
- Yield: 1 loaf
