Asian Ginger Dressing Recipe

  1. MAKES 1/2 C. VEGAN
  2. This dressing is wonderful on spinach, potatoes, citrus and slaws.
  3. Adjust the amount of fresh ginger to your liking.
  4. In small saucepan, combine all ingredients except cornstarch and water.
  5. Bring to a simmer.
  6. Cover and simmer for 10 min.
  7. Remove from heat.
  8. Using slotted spoon, throw away garlic and ginger.
  9. Dissolve cornstarch in water and stir into sauce.
  10. Simmer, stirring constantly, till sauce thickens slightly, about 2 min.
  11. Transfer to small bowl, cover and chill till thoroughly chilled.
