Nutritional Spaghetti Sauce

  1. Add olive oil to a fry pan and heat to medium.
  2. Saute garlic in the oil for about 3 minutes.
  3. Add the pepper, mushrooms, onion, tomato paste, olives, and seasoning to the garlic and saute for another 5 minutes.
  4. Add meat or alternative and thoroughly mix.
  5. Cook over medium-high heat until the meat is done.
  6. Add marinara sauce, cover, and let simmer on medium-low heat for about 10 minutes.
  7. This is where you should add the nutritious food enhancer if you choose to.
  8. Serve over whatever you like--noodles, rice, potatoes or meat.
