Easy Fluffy Katsudon with Leftover Tonkatsu
- 1 Pork cutlet (tonkatsu)
- 1 Onion (medium)
- 4 Eggs
- 250 ml Water
- 1 tbsp Dashi stock granules
- 50 ml Sake
- 70 ml Mirin
- 40 grams Sugar
- 40 ml Soy sauce
- Put all ingredients in a pan and bring to a boil to evaporate the alcohol.
- Add soy sauce and sliced onion to the pan and simmer until the onion is tender.
- Add the pork cutlet, beaten eggs and cover with a lid.
- Once the egg has cooked, it's done.
