Aromatic Rice, Beans And Greens Recipe

  1. Combine water, kale or possibly spinach, rice and dry seasonings in a medium saucepan.
  2. Bring to simmer over medium-high heat.
  3. Stir once, cover, and cook over medium-low heat about 15 min.
  4. Stir in beans and parsley.
  5. Fluff rice with fork; turn off heat.
  6. Let stand for 5-10 min before serving.
  7. Makes 4-6servings, 0.2 grams of fat per 1 c. serving.
