Popover Donuts Recipe
- 2 Large eggs, beaten
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 1 c. sweet lowfat milk
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tbsp. butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 c. flour
- 3 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- Combine ingredients in order given.
- Drop batter by spoonfuls into warm fat.
- When browned remove from fat and roll in sugar.
- These donuts turn themselves.
- You can add in powdered sugar to the granulated sugar, makes them sugar better.
- Dropping batter into warm fat eliminates rolling and cutting.
