Chef Joey's Black Bean Dip

  1. Open the can of beans, drain off the liquid and discard.
  2. Place the beans into a medium size bowl.
  3. Mash the beans slightly with a fork.
  4. Add the herbs and mash again.
  5. Add the lime juice.
  6. Give it a gentle stir to get the lime juice incorporated throughout the bean mixture.
  7. Add the salt and pepper and taste your dip.
  8. If you want more seasoning add more!
  9. Cover with plastic wrap or store in a covered container in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
  10. Spread on warm Indian fry bread or any other flat bread.
  11. Bon Appetit.
