TJs Black Bean and Turkey Chili

  1. Heat the olive oil with the onions and garlic in a 5 1/2-quart Dutch oven over medium heat.
  2. Cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the ground turkey and brown lightly, crumbling with a fork as it cooks.
  4. Add the red pepper and celery.
  5. Then add the salsa and simmer uncovered for 5 minutes.
  6. Add the tomatoes with sauce, black beans, corn, chili powder, and cumin.
  7. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Serve in warmed soup bowls and sprinkle with the pepper Jack cheese.
