Garlicky Pigeon Pea Dip

  1. Heat oven 350F.
  2. Mash pigeon peas in large bowl.
  3. Add cream cheese, sour cream and garlic; mix well.
  4. Remove 1/2 cup of the cheese; refrigerate for later use.
  5. Stir remaining cheese into pigeon pea mixture.
  6. Spread into 1-1/2 qt.
  7. casserole sprayed with cooking spray.
  8. Bake 20 min.
  9. ; sprinkle with reserved cheese.
  10. Bake 5 min.
  11. or until cheese is melted and dip is heated through.
  12. Sprinkle with onions.
