Marinated Steak
- 1 each beef, flank steak (london broil) or london broil (about 1 1/2 pounds)
- 23 cup red wine dry
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce, tamari
- 18 teaspoon oregano crumbled
- 18 teaspoon marjoram crumbled
- 18 teaspoon black pepper
- Mix together the wine, soy sauce and seasonings.
- Place steak in a long glass baking dish and pour marinade over meat.
- Cover and chill at least 12 to 18 hours, turning meat once or twice.
- Preheat broiler.
- Remove steak from marinade.
- Pat dry and broil 4 inch from heat for about 5 minutes on each side.
- To serve, cut thin slices diagonally across grain.
- Serve with rice.
