Hot Maryland Crab Soup with String Beans
- 4 cups water
- 2 cans tomatoes 12 ounces each, minced
- 1/2 large onions chopped
- 2 each carrots sliced
- 1 can corn
- 1/2 pound green beans cut into 1 inch pieces
- 1 each hot chili peppers minced
- 1 x old bay seasoning to taste
- 1 pound crab meat
- Put everything but the crabmeat into a large pot and bring to a boil.
- Cover and simmer, adding crabmeat, for about 2 hours.
- Don't buy the lump crabmeat, it's a waste.
- I used leftover crabmeat and clawmeat, which gives it a bit more sweetness.
