Choco-Scotch Cake
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup Land O Lakes Butter, softened
- 1 cup water
- 3 Land O Lakes Eggs
- 3 (1-ounce) squares unsweetened baking chocolate, melted
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3/4 cup butterscotch-flavored baking chips**
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- Heat oven to 350F.
- Grease 13x9-inch baking pan; set aside.
- Combine all ingredients except butterscotch chips and walnuts in bowl.
- Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often, until all ingredients are moistened.
- Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed.
- Spread batter into prepared pan.
- Sprinkle with walnuts.
- Bake 30-35 minutes or until top springs back when touched lightly in center.
- Immediately sprinkle with butterscotch chips..
- *Substitute peanut butter-flavored baking chips.
