Easy and Delicious Macaroni Au Gratin

  1. Preparation: Cut the chicken into 1 cm cubes, and thinly slice the onion.
  2. Stir-frying the ingredients: Melt the butter, and stir-fry the chicken and onion over medium heat.
  3. Turn off the heat when the onion becomes soft and wilted.
  4. Add the flour, and mix well.
  5. Making the white sauce: Once the flour is blended in well, add the milk, chicken stock powder, macaroni, and simmer until the sauce is thickened over medium heat.
  6. Transfer the mixture into a heatproof gratin dish.
  7. Place one slice of melting sliced cheese on top, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, and bake in the oven.
  8. Garnishing: When the cheese has browned, remove the dish from the oven.
  9. Sprinkle with parsley if you like, and you're done.
