Easy Italian Spaghetti Sauce Recipe
- 1 (14 ounce.) can tomato juice
- 1 (6 ounce.) can tomato paste
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 1/2 teaspoon red pepper
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- Lard
- 1 pkg. Italian sausage
- Combine tomato juice and paste in kettle on low heat.
- Add in garlic and other spices.
- In fry pan, heat lard and add in Italian sausage.
- After done frying, add in sausage and about 1/2 c. lard mix (from fry pan) to sauce.
- Cook sauce and sausage together for a total of 3 to 3 1/2 hrs.
- Skim the top and serve with noodles.
- NOTE: If you double the recipe be sure to cook for 6 hrs.
