Creamed Spinach

  1. Press out excess liquid from spinach but do not squeeze dry; set aside.
  2. In 3- to 4-quart saucepan, melt butter over medium-low heat.
  3. Add onion and cook 8 to 10 minutes or until tender, stirring frequently.
  4. Stir in spinach.
  5. Sprinkle flour, salt, and pepper evenly over spinach; stir to combine.
  6. Add cream; heat to boiling over medium-high heat, stirring frequently.
