Mediterranean Bread and Butter Pudding
- 1 small (300g) ciabatta or Turkish style bread, sliced into 1" slices
- 1/4 cup CLASSICO Traditional Basil Pesto Sauce and Spread
- 100g salami, thinly sliced
- 4 KRAFT Light Singles, cut in half Target 2 For $5.00 thru 02/06
- 100g semi-dried tomatoes King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 1/2 cup Kalamata olives, pitted
- 1/4 cup basil leaves, torn
- 2 cups cream or milk
- 4 eggs
- Spread bread with pesto.
- Top each slice with salami and Singles*.
- Arrange bread slices in a greased 20 x 30cm baking dish.
- Add the tomatoes, olives and basil.
- Combine cream and eggs.
- Season to taste and pour mixture over bread.
- Bake at 160C for 30-40 minutes or until custard is set.
- Serve warm.
