Whole Wheat Poppy Seed Cookies Recipe

  1. Cream together butter and sugar.
  2. Beat until light.
  3. Add in eggs and vanilla.
  4. Add in lemon zest and poppy seeds.
  5. Beat another five min.
  6. Sift together dry ingredients.
  7. Add in to first mix and mix well.
  8. Refrigerate the dough about an hour.
  9. Roll to 1/4 inch thickness.
  10. Cut into your favorite shapes.
  11. Bake on a lightly greased tray 10-12 min at 375 degrees.
