Guava-Glazed Chicken and Rice
- 4 slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon Rite Aid 2 For $7.00 thru 02/06
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 red pepper, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 4 slices OSCAR MAYER Baked Cooked Ham, chopped
- 1 cup long-grain white rice, uncooked
- 1 pkt. sazon seasoning with saffron
- 4 thighs and 1/2 cup sauce from Guava-Glazed Chicken
- 1-1/2 cups water
- Cook bacon in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat until crisp.
- Remove bacon from skillet; drain on paper towels.
- Add peppers, onions and ham to skillet; cook 5 to 8 min.
- or until vegetables are crisp-tender, stirring frequently.
- Add rice and contents of seasoning packet; mix well.
- Cook and stir 1 min.
- ; top with Guava-Glazed Chicken.
- Combine Guava Sauce and water.
- Drizzle over chicken.
- Bring to boil; cover.
- Reduce heat to low; simmer 15 min.
- Remove from heat.
- Let stand 5 min.
- Fluff rice with fork.
- Crumble bacon; sprinkle over chicken mixture.
